Limp Bizkit - 'My Generation' Stars Still Going Strong
Formed around iconic frontman Durst, guitarist Wes Borland, drummer John Otto, bassist Sam Rivers and DJ Lethal, this fantastic five-piece came together in 1994. Soon they were the talk of the underground scene in Florida, securing a record deal and putting out their debut album Three Dollar Bill, Yall$ in 1997. However, it was 1999's Significant Other which marked their major mainstream breakthrough, hitting number one in the US and spawning the hit singles 'Break Stuff' and 'Nookie'.
2000's controversially-titled Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water continued on this upward trajectory, topping the charts across the world and soundtracking the nu-metal era in popular music with tracks like 'Rollin'' and 'My Generation'. Meanwhile, LPs such as Results May Vary and Gold Cobra proved the band's lasting appeal. Over the past 15 years, they've smashed a host of festivals around the world, from Reading and Leeds and Download in the UK to the Warped Tour and Ozzfest in the US.
