Born in Tetney, Lincolnshire, the now 19-year-old found her love for music at an early age. By 3 years of age, she was putting on performances for her family and learnt to play the piano a few years later. Her musical intentions continued in school as she secured a place at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts in Hertfordshire. After auditioning for the X Factor in early 2012, with a beautiful rendition of Cher's 'Believe', she became a sure-fire favourite to win the series, only to be knocked out in the lives shows to the shock of all involved. After signing to Syco Music, her career has blossomed with a number one album, promoting her music extensively all over the world and making TV appearances in the UK, Europe and the US.
