Wicked Denver Tickets
Wicked Denver TicketsWicked has become one of Broadway's most successful shows and holds the record for Broadway's highest grossing production. The story is based off of a 1995 novel by Gregory Maguire in which the Wicked Witch is presented very differently than she was in the movie. The show utilizes elaborate special effects and costumes to attempt to bring the audience into Oz. The touring production, which kicked-off in 2005, brings the show to fans throughout the country who may not be able to make it to Broadway.
One Short Day in the Emerald CityWicked tells the story of The Wicked Witch of the West, also known as Elphaba. It attempts to show that she wasn't always so wicked and that events in her life drove her to be the wicked character from the classic movie. It also shows her tender side and how she fell in love with a cocky young man named Fiyero. The show incorporates many of the classic characters, including the Cowardly Lion, Tin Man, The Good Witch, the Wicked Witch of the East (Elphaba's sister), the Munchkins and the Wizard of Oz himself. The story shows that some of these characters may have been even more wicked than the Wicked Witch and that all the bad things that happened in Oz may not have been her fault.
