Wallace Wade Stadium
Wallace Wade Stadium TicketsOriginally named Duke Stadium, this arena is the home of Duke's Blue Devils football team. The stadium opened in 1929 and was renamed in 1967 for coach Wallace Wade. Brooks Field was added to the name in 2015 due to a large donation contributed by Duke alumni Steve Brooks. As a part of the stadium's notable history, it hosted the Rose Bowl in 1942. The Rose Bowl was moved temporarily to the East Coast after the attack on Pearl Harbor as a safety precaution. Over the years, renovations and upgrades have brought the current seating capacity to just over 40,000 seats. In the addition to the NCAA football season each year, events at the stadium have included concerts such as The Rolling Stones and The Grateful Dead.
