RUMOURED: Taylor Swift tour

While the Taylor Swift tour in the UK has yet to be officially confirmed for 2020, there’s plenty of speculation it will happen and hints from the artist herself. For now though, all the Lovers will just have to wait.

Lana Del Rey tour

The Lana Del Rey tour will be coming to the UK from 25 to 29 February 2020. The “Born to Die” singer will be playing songs from her latest No. 1 album, Normal Fucking Rockwell, for the first time on British stages since its release on 30 August 2019. The American vocalist will perform four UK dates in some of the biggest arenas across the country.

Editors tour 

After a jaunt across Europe, the Editors tour will be back coming to their homeland of the UK from 27 February to 3 March. The artists formerly known Pilot, The Pride and Snowfield have had a string of top 10 albums since they launched in 2002. Now, they will be playing five shows across the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Elvis Costello & the Imposters will be taking their Just Trust tour around the UK from 28 February to 18 March 2020. The legendary frontman has been one of the country’s most acclaimed singer-songwriters for the last 40 years, with 30 studio albums released — three of which are on Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. The upcoming Elvis Costello tour will include material from his 2018 LP, Look Now, which he recorded with the Imposters.

The 1975 tour

Manchester indie rock band The 1975 will be touring the UK and Ireland’s biggest arenas in 2020. The shows will be in support of their upcoming album, Notes on a Conditional Form, which is set for release 21 February and has spawned the climate change-themed lead single, “People”. The 1975 tour will kick off on 15 February in Nottingham and wrap on 3 March in Dublin.

British crooner James Arthur is taking his upcoming album YOU on the road with an eight-date 2020 UK tour from 4 to 14 March. The Who tour

You need to see legendary British rockers The Who as this could be the last time they are on the road. Lead vocalist Roger Daltrey recently said, “This will possibly be my last tour. American rap icon Snoop Dogg will be taking his I Wanna Thank Me tour for a walk around the UK, with backing acts including hip-hop stars D12, Warren G, Tha Dogg Pound and Obie Trice. Craig David will going on a 2020 tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his breakthrough debut album, Born to Do It. The British R&B singer will be kicking off the concerts on 13 April in Cardiff, followed by 10 other UK arena shows around the country. Earlier this year, he released two singles —"When You Know What Love Is” and "Do You Miss Me Much”— in support of his upcoming eighth album, which he will doubtlessly play material from during the Craig David tour.

McFly tour

Noughties pop rockers McFly are reuniting — first with a one-off London O2 Arena show on 20 November 2019 followed by a full UK tour in 2020 in support of their new album, The Lost Songs. Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd are all back after the band’s hiatus and are ready to play at some of the country’s biggest arenas for the comeback concerts. The McFly tour kicks on 26 April in Liverpool and finishes on 10 May in Nottingham.

Another blast from the past, 80s pop legends the Pet Shop Boys will embark on their first-ever greatest hits tour in May and June 2020. Simply titled Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live, band members Tennant and Chris Lowe have been busy working on their upcoming, unnamed new album as well as a single with Ollie Alexander and Years & Years: “Dreamland”. The Pet Shop Boys tour kicks off on 28 May in London and goes on until 6 June in Glasgow.

After much speculation, Queen + Adam have confirmed that they will be coming to the UK in June 2020 with their Rhapsody Tour. While the British band and American singer, who replaced Freddie Mercury in the leading vocalist position, will be playing seven shows here, they will all be in London and Manchester.
