Even better news: the ‘Chun-Li’ rapper will be hitting the road with Future!
But the bad news is you’re going to have to wait until 2019 to see the star in action…
Here’s everything we know about ‘NickiHndrxx’ - Nicki Minaj’s 2019 tour with Future, including when and where she'll be performing in the UK and Ireland.
Nicki Minaj UK tour: dates and cities
With two new singles out already and a new album on the way, the announcement of Nicki Minaj’s world tour was inevitable.
But Minaj surprised the world when she announced she’d be touring with ‘Turn On the Lights’ rapper Future.

- London, The O2, London - March 11

Who is Future and what does ‘NickiHndrxx’ mean?
Future - real name Nayvadius Cash - is one of the hottest US rappers around.
The Atlanta-born hip-hop star has collaborated with a who’s who of the music industry, including Lil Wayne, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell, Kanye West, Rihanna, The Weeknd... and Nicki Minaj (most notably on ‘You Da Baddest’).
Some of Future’s biggest hits include ‘Mask Off’, ‘Low Life’ (featuring The Weeknd) and ‘Where Ya At?’ (featuring Drake).
The ‘Hndrxx’ part of the ‘NickiHndrxx Tour’ (pronounced "Nicki Hendrix") comes from the title of Future’s sixth studio album released in 2017. The star has often referred to himself as “Future Hendrix”.
This isn’t the first time Future has joined a massive hip-hop star on tour. In 2016, Future went on the road with ‘I’m Upset’ rapper Drake for the ‘Summer Sixteen Tour’.
But Future has yet to announce a solo tour, so this could be your only chance to catch the rapper in action in the next few years.
Nicki Minaj new album ‘Queen’: release date and latest news
Prior to the new album announcement, Nicki Minaj released two fresh tracks in April 2018: ‘Chun-Li’...
...and ‘Barbie Tingz’.
Minaj later revealed the title of her fourth studio album was ‘Queen’ - set for release on August 10 (pushed back from June 15).
‘Queen’ will be Nicki Minaj’s first album not to feature the word ‘Pink’ (her previous albums were ‘Pink Friday Tour’, ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’ and ‘The Pinkprint’).
While we have to wait longer than expected for ‘Queen’ (and the 2019 tour), we do have a Nicki Minaj documentary to look forward to, which is expected to be released prior to the new album.
Minaj also released ‘Rich Sex’ (featuring Lil Wayne) as a promotional single.
FUN FACT: Nicki Minaj’s touring buddy Future also has a song called ‘Rich $ex’ (note the dollar-sign distinction) which starred Blac Chyna. Chyna just so happened to play Nicki Minaj’s stunt double in the video for Kanye West’s ‘Monster’. Small world, huh?
Next, Minaj teamed up with frequent collaborator Ariana Grande for ‘Bed’. The pair have collaborated several times before including on tracks ‘Bang Bang’ and ‘Side To Side’.
On top of her own music, Minaj has featured on both Post Malone’s ‘Ball For Me’ and YG’s ‘Big Bank’ in 2018. The rapper even made it onto Kanye West’s new album ‘Ye’ by way of a voicemail message that features on track ‘Violent Crimes’.
Is Nicki Minaj dating Eminem?
Despite announcing a world tour and new album, Nicki Minaj made the headlines for a more intimate reason in 2018.
The star seemed to confess her love for Eminem on Instagram when a post about the ‘Stan’ hitmaker prompted a fan to ask if they were an item, to which Nicki replied simply, “yes”.
But while it looks like the rumour that Nicki Minaj and Eminem are in a relationship was without merit, it hasn’t stopped the potential power couple from flirting with each other from the stage and on social media.
Eminem added fuel to the rumoured romance at his Boston Calling performance when he addressed his apparent tryst head on.
He told the crowd, "I want to take this time now to give a shout to my bae Nicki Minaj… Yo Boston, how many people in here want me to date Nicki Minaj?"
Minaj responded on Twitter, “LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. The fact that he’s silly & a goof just like me. Love him so much. Em we need you on the # Queen album. That’s where our 1st date will be; at the studio while I gaze into ur beautiful eyes as u write ur verse."
