Latitude Festival 2021: Snow Patrol, Bastille, Lewis Capaldi lineup, tickets and more

Get ready for the festival's comeback this summer
Latitude Festival

Latitude Festival 2021 is a family friendly UK festival that takes place in Henham Park, Suffolk, from 23 to 25 July

Since 2006, this has been where fantasy meets festival. Latitude Festival annually takes place in Suffolk’s gorgeous Henham Park, surrounded by forests and multi-coloured mutton. (Yes, you read that correctly. No, you don’t need to wait for the party favours to kick in — the sheep are dyed.)

Naturally, the music is also mind-blowing. The Latitude Festival 2021 lineup includes top musicians with more to be announced in the coming months, with this year’s headliners including Bastille, Lewis Capaldi and First Aid Kit as well as a special performance from Northern Irish-Scottish rockers Snow Patrol on the Sunday afternoon.

Snow Patrol was due to headline Latitude Festival 2019, but had to pull out at the last minute. Fortunately, they were able to return this year (they were also in 2020 before the festival got cancelled) and can celebrate their latest album, Reworked, as well as their 25th anniversary. iNews quotes Snow Patrol as saying, “Snow Patrol are thrilled to perform our Reworked set (featuring 14 musicians no less) as special guests.”

"Having played the first ever Latitude in 2006 we were gutted that injury forced us to cancel our headline slot last year. Thank you Latitude for giving us another chance to make it up.”

While adults may be excited for Snow Patrol, there’s also plenty for little ones to dream big about. Latitude is a family friendly festival, with dedicated areas and activities for kids and teens.

This is also one of the best UK festivals for lovers of comedy, dance, the arts and podcasts. Acts announced for last year's edition included Comedian Bill Bailey joined by the likes of former “Never Mind The Buzzcocks” presenter Simon Amstell and American Rich Hall.
