Who’s on the Eastern Electrics lineup for 2018?
Eastern Electrics day one lineup was announced on February 22 and came with the news that this year's festival is set to be a two-day event for the first time.
The Saturday event will be headlined by Jamie Jones...
...while Sunday sees David Rodigan take the top spot on the lineup, with two new additions AJ Tracey and 'People Just Do Nothing' stars Kurupt FM.
Previous EE lineup highlights include Carl Cox, Groove Armada, Richie Hawtin and Mike Skinner of The Streets.
We reckon at least a few of these names could pop up again this year (we’ll keep you posted with the latest).
The festival has also announced its stage partners...
- Eastern Electrics will host the Main Stage (makes sense)
- Skreamizm are set to take control of The Big Top (powered by RC1 Sound System)
- Defected In The House will be in charge at the Club Stage
- Edible are calling the shots at The Switchyard
- Ministry of Sound are setting up shop in The VIP Area
- Electric City will be home to Tropical Tea Party
- And some very special headline guests will be found at The Star of EE Pub
Sunday's stage partners include Eastern Electrics, So Fresh So Clean, Matt Jam Lamont, Reggae Roast and South London Soul Train.
When is Eastern Electrics 2018?
The two-day festival takes place on Saturday, August 4 and Sunday, August 5.
Gates open at 11am and the festival closes at 10pm.
It will not be possible to enter the festival site after 6pm.
Where is Eastern Electrics 2018?
In 2007, Eastern Electrics moved from its previous home at Hatfield House to Morden Park (London).
Morden South railway station is closest (6 mins walk) walk, while Morden Tube Station is also an option (15 mins walk).
There will be signposts to the festival from there.
How do you get tickets to Eastern Electrics 2018?
StubHub is Eastern Electrics official ticketing partner.
Saturday general release tickets are £45, while £59.95 will get you VIP access (it’s £20 if you decide to upgrade later).
Sunday general release tickets are just £20, while a mere £30 will get you VIP access (again, £20 if you want to upgrade later).
A weekend ticket is £57.50.
What do you get with a VIP package?
For a mere extra tenner, you can rock up to the festival like a bonafide celeb as you skip past the peasants and into the luxury VIP area hosted by Ministry of Sound.
Not only that, you can get exclusive VIP-only access to the stages, access to VIP cocktail bars and, most important of all for avid festival-goers, access to private toilets.
What about the Eastern Electrics 2018 after party?
For the festival goer who simply cannot go home when the festival closes its gate, the party continues over at Egg from 11pm to 8am.
The New York Way club promises an impressive lineup and will cost just £10 to get in.
