But with a fifth studio album on the way, and a North America tour already announced, there’s every reason to think the star will be back over here soon for another impressive run of UK concerts.
Here’s why we might see a Drake UK tour 2018, as well as new album rumours and highlights from his previous UK concerts.
Will there be a Drake tour 2018?
There sure will!
Drake announced his North America tour 'Aubrey and the Three Migos Tour' is on the way this summer (Aubrey is Drake's first name and the "Three Migos" are obviously 'Bad and Boujee' rappers Migos).
Drake and Migos' 41-date tour kicks off in Salt Lake City on July 26 and runs until November 26 in Atlanta - but currently doesn't include any UK or Europe dates.
Drake's last UK tour took place in January and February 2017, so it would make sense for him to head over here for more London concerts around the same time of year in 2019 after the US dates wrap up.
The 6 God has already announced that the tour VIP packages will include access to his pre-show tour lounge, which includes "VIP only activities."
During 2017’s ‘The Boy Meets World Tour’, Drake performed a record eight concerts at The O2 Arena - the only rapper to ever do so. The only other artist to perform so many concerts at the London venue was Adele in 2016.
Drake's UK tour was supported by Young Thug, dvsn and Giggs, with special appearances from Nicki Minaj, Skepta and Travis Scott (the latter famously falling through the stage at The O2 Arena concert).
The fact the rapper is able to sell so many tickets over here suggests a Drake 2018 UK tour is a no-brainer.
Not only that - Drake LOVES the UK. During the last Drake concerts in London, the hip-hop lothario confessed his passion for the city (and its women), so coming back for another UK tour at some point is likely.

When is Drake’s new album 'Scorpion' coming out?
Don't believe us? Just check the back of Drake's new album announcement jacket...
Oh, a specially designed bomber jacket with the new album title embroidered on the back isn't (Hotline) bling enough for you?
How about a gold Scorpion medallion necklace! Boom!
The new album announcement came on the same day the rapper knocked himself off the number one spot in the US singles charts, with 'Nice For What' (celeb-packed video below) replacing 'God's Plan's' 11-week reign.
'Scorpion' is likely a reference to Drake's star sign, considering the rapper's birthday is October 24.
During Drake’s 2017 concert at OVO Fest - a Canadian event which the rapper himself hosts every year - he told the crowd he was heading “back to making this new album in Toronto, just for you.”
Drake released a couple of non-album singles in 2017, as well as several that went on his mixtape ‘More Life’.
It looked like the new Drake album was on the way in 2018 when the star dropped two more tracks ('God's Plan' and 'Diplomatic Immunity', but instead they went on a two-track EP called ‘Scary Hours’.
Drake dropped an official video for 'God's Plan', which explained all the good deeds the rapper had been doing around Miami.
Drake gives away almost $1 million in the promo. He pays for peoples' shopping at the supermarket, hands families wads of cash and presents charitable organisations with giant cheques.
Drake later dropped a video for 'Nice For What' - in the run up to his new album announcement.
The promo is packed with famous female faces including Olivia Wilde, Rashida Jones, Tiffany Haddish, Zoe Saldana and Michelle Rodriguez.
At time of writing, the track - which features a sample of Lauryn Hill's 'Ex-Factor' - had more than 40 million views on YouTube.
Drake's celebrity feuds bubbled to the surface when the rapper released new track 'Duppy Freestyle'.
The song was a direct response to Pusha-T's new track 'Infrared' (which came out only 24 hours before), in which the rapper accuses Drake of using a ghostwriter for his lyrics. Drake also directly references Kanye West in the track.
Then one day later, Drake released another track (this one more likely to be included on his new album) 'I'm Upset'.
UPDATE: After dropping the track online, Drake later released an official music video featuring the cast of Canadian teen drama 'Degrassi', as well as US comedy characters Jay and Silent Bob (played by Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes).
Before he was a rap superstar, Drake had a recurring role on the show, as did Smith and Mewes for a short time.
Future has also teased a collaboration with Drake on Snapchat.
The rappers - who collaborated on the 2015 mixtape 'What A Time To Be Alive' - have already been on a co-headlining tour together, so the new project could be paving the way for a new series of Future/Drake concerts in 2018.
The snippet isn't the best quality, but you can clearly hear Drake's vocals and references to Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid.
And that's not all - Drake has got another new single coming out!
Murda Beatz previewed the track on Instagram Live before Drake himself jumped on to confirm he was indeed working on a new single with the Canadian producer.
He said, "New single dropping soon produced by Chef Murda."

Drake will also reportedly feature on Kanye West's new album.
Nas, The-Dream, Kid Cudi, Travis Scott and Lil Uzi Vert are working on the new record as well, according to TMZ.
The rapper’s last studio album was ‘Views’, which spawned massive hit single ‘Hotline Bling’. The music video has had more than 1 billion views.
