For those who like their summer loud and hard-rocking, Danzig’s 30th anniversary tour is a must for 2018.
The ‘Mother’ metallers are celebrating 30 years in the business with a trip to London and Glasgow as part of their European tour.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Danzig UK tour 2018, including what the setlist might look like and a bit about their new album 'Black Laden Crown'.
Danzig UK tour 2018: dates and cities
Currently, Danzig have only announced two UK dates as part of their European tour - London and Glasgow - but there’s still plenty of time for them to announce more.

Danzig setlist for 2018 tour
Danzig’s 2018 tour hasn’t started yet, so exactly what their setlist will be is anyone’s guess at this stage.
However, the band did tour with their new album in 2017, so it’s possible the 2018 setlist will look similar to this average for the year according to setlist.fm.
- Twist of Cain
- Devil on Hwy 9
- Her Black Wings
- Left Hand Black
- How the Gods Kill
- Do You Wear the Mark
- Dirty Black Summer
- Last Ride
- Black Mass
- Long Way Back From Hell
- Not of This World
- She Rides
Lead singer Glenn Danzig recently reunited with his first band The Misfits (as The Original Misfits) for a couple of US concerts in May 2018, meaning the odd Misfits song could find its way onto the setlist.
Danzig new album ‘Black Laden Crown’
Danzig’s first studio album (of original material) in seven years ‘Black Laden Crown’ was released in 2017.
The album’s second single ‘Last Ride’ got the official video treatment and has the highest amount of views of any of Danzig’s YouTube videos (800k+).
The track is likely to appear on Danzig’s tour setlist, as it did in 2017.
According to Glenn, the song was supposed to feature on the soundtrack to zombie TV show ‘The Walking Dead’, but it didn’t happen in the end.
Another new Danzig album is apparently in the works - and it’s an album of Elvis Presley covers!
‘Danzig Sings Elvis’ was revealed during an interview with Sirius FM. During his appearance on the radio show, Glenn revealed the band’s cover of ‘Always On My Mind’, which was recorded for the as yet unreleased album.
Although it seems like a strange direction for Danzig, it’s not the first time the band have released an Elvis song. The punk rockers released ‘Skeletons’ in 2015, a covers album featuring The King’s ‘Let Yourself Go’, as well as tracks by Aerosmith, Black Sabbath and ZZ Top.
