The former Fifth Harmony singer got her first taste of a solo tour when she supported Bruno Mars during his North American tour in summer 2017.

And with the success of her solo singles and new album 'Camila' over here - a Camila Cabello tour announcement was inevitable.

However, the star told The New York Times the day before the record dropped that she didn't have plans to go on tour in 2018.

She said, “For now, I just want to be a kid.”

But considering the album was a smash hit both in the US and the UK, passing up an opportunity to capitalise on the heat surrounding the star right now would have been very surprising.

Camila Cabello has dropped a teaser video which shows her rehearsing ahead of her 2018 tour.

The black and white promo - which the singer posted to social media - shows the star going over dance moves over the track 'Into It'.

Camila Cabello has revealed she "definitely" won't be performing any Fifth Harmony songs on her tour.

The star - who had previously played down a 2018 tour - revealed she'll be sticking to her own music when she hits the road.

Camila told NME when asked if she might reinvent some of the group's songs for the concerts, “I honestly have never even thought about that. I don’t know, I feel like this is such a new… chapter of me.”

Camila Cabello's UK concerts will be "intimate" and something fans "haven't seen before," according to the star.

The singer told ABC News Radio, "I just really want every live performance to be amazing. And I want people to wanna come to my concerts, not just because they are my fan, but because they wanna have a good show experience."

She added, "I'm really excited to put together a show, and just thinking about ways to do stuff that I feel like hasn't been done before.

"It's not gonna be big venues, it's gonna be really, really intimate, which I'm super-excited about too, 'cause I really like getting to just feel people.

"Hopefully, I can have a really cool production while still being intimate. So yeah, I'm super-excited for tour."

UPDATE: Vogue has released a sneak peek inside Camila Cabello's tour.

The 2-min video shows the star getting ready, hunting for snacks and rehearsing ahead of the concerts.

On top of Camila Cabello's UK tour, the star will be opening for Taylor Swift's UK concerts as well.

The pop pair are not only best friends, Taylor Swift and Camila Cabello's UK tour dates sync up conveniently, allowing for a guest spot at each other's concerts.

Camila said of the Taylor Swift tour, "On every level, this is a dream come true. As a fan, I’m going to be singing every song at the top of my lungs. As a friend, it’s a giant sleepover."
