Thinking about going to see Britney Spears? Did you know Katy Perry and Demi Lovato also have UK concerts in 2018?

Britney will also take the ‘Piece of Me’ tour to other cities in Europe - including Germany, Belgium and Sweden - after the North American and Asian legs.

This will be Britney’s first tour in eight years due to her hit residency in Las Vegas, which ran from 2013 to December 2017. Celeb fans of her recent shows include Beyonce, Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry. It was one of the most successful Las Vegas residencies of all time.

Prior to the tour’s announcement, Britney’s ex Justin Timberlake joked that a Las Vegas residency was a retirement plan for pop stars in an apparent slight at the singer.

Who is the support act for Britney's UK concerts?

It was likely that Britney would announce a fairly big name to open her UK shows - but we didn't expect PitBull.

The 'Timber' hitmaker will join Britney at all of her shows in the UK. We'll probably hear him perform some of his biggest hits including 'Rain Over Me', 'Give Me Everything' and 'International Love'.

Louise Rednapp is set to support Britney Spears as part of the Brighton Pride 2018 main stage lineup.

The former Eternal singer - who is just going by 'Louise' once again - joins Pixie Lott, Ella Eyre, M.N.E.K and Mabel at the 2018 event. Louise will also be performing at the Isle of Wight Festival.

Will Britney Spears release new music in 2018?

Apparently so! In an interview with Vegas Player Magazine in 2016, Britney talked about her most recent album ‘Glory’ and suggested a tenth studio album is very much on the way.

She said, “I’m not sure what I want the next album to sound like. I just know that I’m excited to get into the studio again and actually have already been back recording.”

If Britney has started work on the new album, it’s possible she could release new music before her summer shows begin.

Her previous album ‘Glory’ was praised by critics when it was released in 2016 and spawned hit singles ‘Make Me… (featuring G-Easy)’...

...and ‘Slumber Party (featuring Tinashe)’, which sees Britney parade around a party at a luxury mansion.

For those who haven’t been lucky enough to catch Britney’s ‘Piece Of Me’ show yet, this 2016 Billboard Music Awards performance is megamix of Britney's greatest hits and is sure to get you in the mood for her UK concerts.
