Watch attractive Bulgarian professional football Ludogorets
Ludogorets is a Bulgarian professional football team, known more officially as Ludogorets Razgrad, which is the team's home town. They play in their (by now) traditional all-green strip, albeit a very young tradition given that the current incarnation of the team was only established in 2001. Since 2010 when they were sold and rejuvenated, they have risen in stature and success, and have been solid and regular contenders in Europe. They play an attractive brand of football, which you'll benefit from when you buy or sell Ludogorets tickets on StubHub.
Finally, a rise to the first league
Ludogorets began playing in the lower leagues of the Bulgarian football system, spending around a decade languishing here until the club's ownership changed and they hired a new coach. These two moves proved to be inspirational, and won the club immediate promotion to the second division, known in Bulgaria as the B League. In the very next season, the club finally arrived in the first division, and have enjoyed a long run there since. Not only that, they arrived with aplomb, becoming the first team in Bulgarian football history to win their version of the treble: the league, the Bulgarian Cup, and the Bulgaria Super Cup. They continued this form into the following year, and inevitably all roads led to Europe, where they had mixed success. In their first appearance in European competition as Bulgarian champions, they barely missed out on progressing past the second round when they lost narrowly to GNK Dynamo Zagreb, but this was just the beginning of success for the club. Check them out with your own Ludogorets tickets, particularly if you're intending to travel to Eastern Europe during the football season.
Plucky football perseverance in Europe
Ludogorets continued their march to ever higher levels of the European tournaments, and in 2012 they made it to the playoffs, losing out on further honours thanks to a defeat by FC Basel—but it was nonetheless enough to qualify them for the Europa competition. In this league they didn't manage to distinguish themselves at first, but by 2017 they were back to their winning ways. They finished one off the top spot in their group, but when they advanced to the next round, further success once again eluded them when they fell to a powerful AC Milan in both games of the double-header. This is one of the most exciting Bulgarian football teams worth watching, so the popularity of Ludogorets tickets on StubHub has remained constantly high. Look for their home games at Ludogorets Arena if you're planning to catch a live game.
