Joan C. Edwards Stadium
Joan C. Edwards Stadium TicketsJoan C. Edwards Stadium is the official home of the Marshall University Thundering Herd football program. It is located on the university campus in Huntington, West Virginia. When it was originally opened in 1991 as a replacement for the off-campus facility Fairfield Stadium, the venue was named in dedication to businessman James F. Edwards, a major donor to the university. In 2003, it was renamed in honor of his wife, the jazz singer and philanthropist Joan C. Edwards. The stadium currently has a seating capacity of 38,227, up from the 28,000 capacity at its opening. The largest attendance figure ever recorded was 41,382 in front of a 21Ð24 overtime loss to West Virginia on September 10, 2010. StubHub gives you the chance to purchase tickets to all Joan C.
