Diversity - From Britain's Got Talent to Sold-Out Arena Tours
Made up of two sets of brothers and their friends, the group's members first came together as part of the dance company Swift Moves. After auditioning for TV show Britain's Got Talent, they raced through to the live shows and found themselves in the final, up against fellow street dance crew Flawless, and favourite to win Susan Boyle. In a shock results, the deserving dance group won in front of a record audience of 17.3 million viewers. As part of their prize they appeared at the Royal Variety Performance and joined the rest of the Britain's Got Talent finalist in a UK wide tour.
By 2010, leader Ashley Banjo had branched out to become a judge on the Sky One talent show Got to Dance, alongside Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt and tap dance sensation Adam Garcia. This significant year also saw the group sell out a headline tour in 24 hours. Diversitoys centred on toys coming to life, the group being the main attraction. It was so popular it was brought back for a second run at Christmas. The next two years saw the group appear in the first and second series of 'Ashley Banjo's Secret Street Crew' in which groups of unlikely dancers were taught the fundamentals of urban dance, but soon they were back on the road. Third tour Limitless was so popular in 2013 that it was brought back to life a year later and after Dream, Believe, Achieve saw them dance at the biggest capacity venues to date, they have announced a follow up to Limitless, coming to an arena stage near you in 2017.
