Gas Monkey Live - Dallas Live Music Venue
First opened in 2014, Gas Monkey Live is a performance venue in Northwest Dallas that can accommodate around 3,000 fans in its spacious 3,500 square-meter area. The bustling venue initially opened to a performance by Social Distortion, an American punk-rock outfit.
Gas Monkey Live History
This Dallas venue is a Richard Rawlings venture, one of three Gas Monkey Live venues total, and the third one is Gas Monkey Energy in Florida. Known for his reality TV show "Fast 'N Loud" on Discovery Channel, Richard Rawlings' Gas Monkey Live stands just opposite his maiden venture, the Gas Monkey Bar 'N Grill that replaced I Love This Bar and Grill by Toby Keith. The space largely hosts performers from rock and its various subgenres -- including the music of acts like Anthrax, Slayer and Opeth -- so check out the Gas Monkey Live schedule on StubHub if you're looking for an energetic live-music venue in Northwestern Dallas.
Gas Monkey Live Events
Gas Monkey Live hosts very popular bands regularly. For instance, 2015 saw Motley Crue perform a free show in partnership with Dodge. That event helped promote the company's Challenger and Charger cars to Dodge owners. Other well-known bands that have performed at the venue include Death Angel, Moon Taxi and Tesseract. Check out upcoming events at Gas Monkey Live and make sure you book your tickets quickly since the venue fills up really fast.
Gas Monkey Live Seating Layout
The 3,500 square meters of seating space features a stage area, a pond patio, a bar and a VIP room, in addition to regular standing and seating room. The VIP area of the venue has cabanas and a balcony. The place has room for around 3,000 rooting fans total to cheer, jump and head bang to the music of their favorite bands.

Gas Monkey Live takes its name from Rawlings' Gas Monkey Garage, a garage he opened in 2004 where he customized vehicles and built hot rods.
