Flying Dutch Festival Tickets
One day. Three locations. Ten of the world's top Dutch DJs. Sounds like a party? That's exactly what the Flying Dutch Festival will bring to your ears, driving you to dance like crazy all day long. This festival spans three cities across the Netherlands to bring you the hottest electronic dance music available.
Featuring 10 of the world's top ranked Dutch DJs, this lineup brings DJs back to their homeland: Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Fedde Le Grand, Hardwell, Nicky Romero, Oliver Heldens, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Showtek, W&W and Yellow Claw. The DJs will play in each of the three locations (Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Eindhoven) throughout the day, travelling via helicopter for what is guaranteed to be a stellar entrance.
Armin van Buuren has brought home many accolades. In the United States, van Buuren holds the record for most songs on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart with 21. In 2011, van Buuren was appointed Officer of the Order of Orange Nassau for his contribution to the Dutch musical community.
Nicky Romero, a Dutch DJ and electronic dance music producer, is ranked as a top 10 DJ in DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJ Poll. He has become one of the most well-known EDM producers. Also among the ranks of the top 100 DJs is Armin van Buuren, who has been awarded the No. 1 spot five times over his 15-year career. Afrojack is also set to appear at the Flying Dutch Festival, and he is widely known today for his popular remixes of A-list musical talents across the world, including Beyoncé, Pitbull, Chris Brown, Ne-Yo and Leona Lewis. The most notable Afrojack collaboration is Pitbull's "Give Me Everything," which reached the No. 1 spot on the US Billboard Hot 100 Charts.
Perhaps one of the youngest of the group, Nicky Romero received his big breakthrough in 2012 with his song "Toulouse." After the release of the song, MTV named him one of the top EDM artists to watch in 2012, which led to his joint residency with David Guetta at Ibiza for the summer of 2012. Armin Van Buuren's success came much earlier in 1995, when he released "Blue Fear" at 19 years old. Much like Romero, van Buuren saw success with the song in Ibiza in following years.
While Afrojack has produced many tracks with various artists, his 2010 hit "Take Over Control" has since become a staple in any EDM repertoire. The song features Eva Simons and charted in a total of 10 different countries. Also of note is van Buuren's 2008 studio album Imagine, which debuted on the Dutch album chart at No. 1, a first for any dance music act in Dutch music history.
All of the DJs will perform at the same time in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Eindhoven, rotating between timetables to ensure you see each one. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., and the first DJs will begin their sets in each city at 12:00 p.m. The final sets will take place from 10:00-11:00 p.m., with special closing acts. Armin van Buuren will close Amsterdam, Hardwell will close Eindhoven, and Afrojack will close Rotterdam.
