DMA's - Sydney Natives Announce UK Tour

It's been quite a year for these fledgling musicians. With the remastered release of 2014's 'Delete' hitting the shelves, and their first full-track album Hills End finally making its debut soon after, the band's fan following is building by the day. On its release, the EP hit the UK Top 40 - not bad for their first effort. Add to that a world tour (with a quick stop at Coachella along the way) and you've got quite the success story. Melding two musical eras, their '90s Britpop sound is spliced with 21st century leanings to make catchy earworm songs that resonate with their young fans. DMA's Biography - Brit-Pop But Not As You Know It

Made up of band members Matt Mason, Tommy O'Dell, and Johnny Took, the trio first formed in 2012 with modest beginnings - predominantly writing and working out of Took's tiny Sydney flat. A love song for the digital age, their debut single, 'Delete' struck a chord with millennials, gaining plenty of radio-play in Australia and New Zealand. Without knowing their background, you could be forgiven for thinking the Britpop obsessives hailed from '90s Madchester. They've drawn comparisons to Oasis and The Happy Mondays, and their on-stage antics and bellow-inducing ballads has helped build a respectable fan following. Their self-titled five-track EP was released to much acclaim, before first full-track album Hills End hit the shelves in 2016, along with a re-release of their debut single - this time remastered for the band's growing fame.
