Birmingham’s very own Colosseum: the Digbeth Arena
Digbeth Arena is a unique, open-air arena located in the heart of Birmingham. Formerly known as the Rainbow Arena, the Digbeth Arena is now run by Bristol-based live events company The MJR Group. James Arthur, Texas, Imelda May and Garbage were the first acts to be signed up to appear at the 12,000 square foot, 3,500-capacity site. Founded in 2012, The MJR Group specialises in concert promotion and venue development. It regularly hosts gigs at Midland venues including the Hare and Hounds in Kings Heath and the Zephyr Lounge in Leamington Spa. Today, Digbeth Arena tickets see plenty of music festivals crowd the doors, as well as live music and other types of events. Get your Digbeth Arena tickets online at StubHub today.
What to expect from the Digbeth Arena
The Digbeth Arena resides in an old builder’s merchant yard, situated adjacent to a disused railway line that runs through the centre of Digbeth. Lined with Victorian railway arches, Digbeth Arena tickets submerge visitors in an exciting atmosphere reminiscent of the Colosseum amphitheatre, whose architecture it mimics. Digbeth Arena offers flexible infrastructure arrangements to producers, agencies and brands hosting large events, providing a unique setting for conferences, exhibitions, experiential events, live music and more. Previous events to have passed through the Digbeth Arena include Legends In The City, a music festival and community event hosting 90s and 00s DJs, and Levellers: A Beautiful Day Out, another music festival headlined by Terrorvision, Ferocious Dog and Eureka Machines.
