Chase Rice Tickets
Born in 1985, Chase Rice is a US country music performer who sings and writes much of his own material. The artist is also known for penning tracks for other acts, such as the song “Cruise”, which was successfully recorded by Florida Georgia Line, a duo made up of Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard. Rice has scored a number one hit album on the Top Country Albums in the United States. A skilled guitarist, the musician was raised in North Carolina and is based in Margate, a small city in Florida. As well as his career in music, Rice has appeared on American TV, notably the Nicaraguan series of Survivor, a show in which he finished as runner-up.
Chase Rice's career milestones and breakthrough
While Rice was growing up he looked as though he might make a career as a professional American footballer. He played as a linebacker in college when in North Carolina, but he ended up having to give up those dreams due to an injury. He briefly pursued a career in motorsport after graduating. However, he also took up playing the guitar when he was a student. Thanks to his talent for lyric writing and his innate singing ability, the young performer soon began playing small-scale gigs in the local area.
Rice’s professional career in performing took off in 2010 when he recorded his self-penned debut album, a work that was called Friday Nights and Sunday Mornings. The 13-track LP was independently released and it included the song “Larger than Life”, which, according to Rice, was the first song that he ever wrote. A six-track mini album was Rice's next release. He unleashed Country As Me onto the public in March of 2011. This work included the artist’s first single, a track named “Buzz Back”.
In 2012, Rice put out a new studio album. This gave him his first taste of genuine commercial success. Dirt Road Communion reached a high of number 48 in Billboard Country Albums chart in the US. The album also fared well on the iTunes download charts. Later that year, the aforementioned “Cruise” was released, which scored the songwriter another hit record, albeit for another artist. Just over 12 months later, Ready Set Roll was released. This EP of new material got Rice to number one in the iTunes Country Album charts. In November of 2013, the album was released in a physical format with a bonus track, “Jack Daniels and Jesus”. The title track from the work would end up becoming a platinum seller. In 2014, Rice returned with another full album, entitled Ignite the Night, which also featured “Ready Set Roll”.
