Based on Dr. Seuss' cherished children's book of the same name, this production brings to life the iconic 6 foot tall, hat-wearing cat that has entertained children for over 50 years. Complete with his impish grin, dangling tail and big red bow tie, the audience - as well as Sally and her brother - know that they're in for an afternoon of fun once that big red and white striped hat appears from behind the door.

Left alone in their house on a cold, rainy day, Sally and her brother are delighted when the trickiest of cats appears to cure their boredom. Fun-loving and looking for his next game, the cat proceeds to balance as many items as he can on his limbs until everything falls with a crash on the floor, much to the chagrin of the children's pet fish. Focused on providing even more laughter, the cat continues to cause mischief - even enlisting the help of Thing One and Thing Two - and leaving the children in a compromising position in the process when they have to try and attempt to tidy up the room in time for their mother's return.
