Built in 2010, the Auburn Arena is a multi-purpose facility that is the home of Auburn's basketball teams. Auburn Arena replaced the Beard-Eaves Memorial Coliseum and cost $86 million to build. The large facility was carefully designed to provide an intimate game experience for attendees. Even the furthest seat from the court is only 43 feet away, and most of the seats are less than 27 feet in elevation above the court. Auburn students enjoy their own access for entrance, concessions and lobby areas. Auburn Arena has a team store, three elevators, 94 HD televisions and six concession stands. A 12,000-square foot banquet area with tailgate and super suites is available for special events. The team area includes an office suite and a 13,970-square foot practice and weight room. The Jonathan B. Lovelace Museum & Hall of Honor is on the concourse near the main entrance and affords visitors a guide of Auburn athletic history. Auburn Arena is home to the Auburn Tigers' basketball team, gymnastics and volleyball teams.
