Also known as Eskiboy, or even less commonly Richard Kylea Cowie, the Godfather of Grime has been at the forefront of British urban music for more than 10 years. As a member of grime's two most famed crews Roll Deep and Boy Better Know, as well as founding Eskibeat Recordings, Cowie has often been a man spinning many plates. His fourth studio album release See Clear Now from 2008 scored the rapper his highest album chart position to date, smashing into the Top 15. With big name collaborations from Mark Ronson and Emeli Sande, the record birthed the breakthrough single 'Wearin' My Rolex', which hit Number 2 in the charts. The rapper has since gone on to share Glastonbury's legendary Pyramid stage with Hot Chip, score his first Number One with the single 'Heatwave' as well setting up another label in 2010, A-List Records.
