For legal reasons, alcohol may only be consumed
within premises that hold a relevant licence and all customers must stay within
the premises where they bought the drink.
To ensure safety, we will conduct security
searches of persons, clothing, bags and all other items on entry and exit and
we reserve the right to confiscate items which may cause danger or disruption
to the event or other patrons or are in breach of the Terms and Conditions.
Customers
may be ejected from the venue or may not be permitted into a venue and will be
asked to surrender any tickets held by such ticketholder, if, in the reasonable
opinion of the venue, the ticketholder is a risk to the safety of any patron; is
affecting the enjoyment of other patrons; and/or the running of the event
and/or the ticketholder's behaviour is unacceptable. Examples include, but are
not limited to, being (or appearing to be): drunk or incapable or intoxicated,
under age (where relevant), abusive, threatening, behaving anti-socially,
carrying offensive weapons or illegal substances, declining to be searched or being
in breach of the Ticket Terms and Conditions.
The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in customers
being asked to leave a venue:
Entry onto the performing area and backstage or any other prohibited areas;
Unauthorised visual or audio recording inside any venue in The O2;
standing on seats or in any walkways and climbing any fencing or other
structure;
Throwing any object or substance onto the performing area or otherwise in the
venue;
Excessive noise or the use of abusive language or gestures;
Unauthorised sale or distribution of any newspapers, magazines, merchandise or
other items;
Possession of any article which is or may be used as a weapon or missile;
Damage to or interfering with any property of The O2 or Event Promoter;
Crowd surfing and moshing; and
Smoking anywhere inside any building in The O2.
Crowd surfing and moshing are strictly prohibited.
Loud music can damage hearing.
Please consider our neighbours and leave The O2 site quietly.
Animals
No animals are allowed in any part of The O2, except working or assistance animals.
Soliciting
No busking, selling, leafleting, surveying, photography or filming, political
activity or any other form of commercial or lobbying activity is permitted in
any part of The O2 without a permit from the Operations Director. Where
permitted, a charge may be made for the permit.
Health
and safety
No riding of scooters, cycles or skates.
No running, climbing or sitting on any escalator, barrier, fence or bollard. The O2 opens at 9:00 and is open till late. Last
admission is at 01:00!
The arena has a
wide variety of food and drink outlets within the concession stands on Level
1 and Level 4, and within The VIP

The use of unauthorised cameras, video and/or
sound recording equipment is prohibited and such items may be confiscated at
the ticketholder's own risk.
All children must have
a ticket.
Children aged 14 or under must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or older.
Standing areas are not suitable for under 16s.
Events may be age
restricted and it is the responsibility of the ticketholder to check before
purchasing.
We do not recommend subjecting children to loud music over a sustained period
of time.
Except
for shows specifically aimed at children, accompanying adults should be
confident that the child will not cause disruption to other audience members or
they may be asked to leave the auditorium or the venue.
The O2 is
easily accessible for wheelchair users or those with specific access
requirements.
The O2 is
serviced by the North Greenwich station (Jubilee Line), buses and Thames
Clippers services, all of which are wheelchair accessible.
All buildings
within The O2 are DDA compliant with wide entrances and there is a flat street
running the length of Entertainment Avenue. Toilet blocks, lifts and other
public areas are also designed for wheelchair use and The O2 staff will provide
assistance on request.
Access to the
arena and seating areas
The nearest entrance for The O2 arena is approximately 100 metres from the main
entrance of The O2. This is Entrance B; Entrance
H can be reached by turning right after the main entrance and
following the signs through Entertainment Avenue. Customers with tickets for
access seating areas will be allowed to enter at any arena entrance, for those
with mobility issues it is advised that they use Entrance B.
The main
concourse and Entertainment Avenue are level step free surfaces for ease of
access to pedestrians and wheelchairs.
Should you be
unable to queue, please contact a member of staff who will arrange for priority
entry once the doors open. All entrances are manned by trained stewards and
accredited security personnel.
Within the
arena there are easily accessible lifts to each level.
Accessible
seating areas
We have wheelchair accessible seating areas on Level 1 and floor level of the arena. This consists of an open bay
with temporary seating available for wheelchair users' companions.
Level 1
platforms are raised above the fixed seating areas so that, when audience
members stand up, customers on the platform may remain seated and still have a
clear view of the stage.
Each wheelchair
platform has a dedicated steward to provide assistance where required.
Ambulant
seating is available on each level for customers who are able to walk and
vacate a seat in the case of an emergency. Our ambulant seating is within the
main seating blocks in areas which are easily accessible. Ambulant seating
available includes: seats situated on the aisle, seats with few or no steps to
them, seats on the back row, seats with no seats directly in front (not
necessarily the front row to the stage) and seats closest to arena facilities.
Certain
ambulant seats have adjustable arm rests to provide easier access and more
comfortable seating if required. Folding chairs without arms are also available
on our wheelchair bays.
Visitors are
advised to book though the disabled access booking line where they will be
allocated the best seats available for their requirements.

Wheelchairs
Should you require assistance at arena events, please contact the information
desks within the arena or ring 020.8463.2211 from doors opening time (stated on
the ticket). This is for point to point assistance at arena events only.
If you have a ticket
for an ambulant seating area and you have your own wheelchair, your wheelchair
can be left with customer services at the information desks on either Level
1 or Level 4 until the end of
the event or a designated point within the event.
Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome within The O2 arena. Assistance dogs may be taken
onto access platforms. However, if you are seated within an ambulant seating
area, please contact a Customer Services Representative at the nearest
information desk on either Level 1 or
Level 4 who will be happy to look after your dog for the duration of the
event or a designated time during the event. Water bowls are available on
request.
Toilets
Accessible toilet facilities are available on all levels and are unisex.
Wheelchair-accessible toilets are located near our wheelchair accessible
seating areas. Electric hoists are available on Level 1 in the disabled toilets
next to the ladies toilets at blocks 106 and 107. Changing tables are available
on request at the Information Desk desk on Level 1.
Cloakrooms
The O2 arena does not provide cloakroom facilities. Wheelchairs can be left at
the customer services information desks on Level 1 or Level
4.
Assistive
Listening Devices
Assistive Listening Devices are available for hearing-disabled visitors to The
O2 arena. This device is an auditory enhancement system providing coverage of
the seating bowl to both those with and without a hearing aid. The Assistive
Listening Devices work with Hearing Aids with T-position settings, and with
digital Hearing Aids. Alternatively, there are earphones available for those
without Hearing Aids.
Please visit
our information desks on Level 1 or Level
4 of the arena and request an assistive listening device. Guests
will be required to leave valid identification such as a driver's licence as
collateral. This is a complimentary service.

Security
A dedicated
in-house security team will be working day and night (in uniform and
plain-clothes) to ensure that you are safe and secure. Any concerns you may
have can be reported to any of the uniformed security officers who will be in
constant contact with The O2 Operations Room. In addition, CCTV - operated to
the highest standards and controlled from The O2 Operations Room - will
constantly monitor the area. Images will be made available to the police and
other organisations should they be required.
Safe child wristbands
Families
visiting The O2 with children can register and collect a free Safe child wristband
from the Reception desk. Parents then provide their contact details and if they
become separated from their child The O2 staff will use this information to
contact the parents as quickly as possible.
