After becoming huge favourites on the festival circuit in recent years, Two Door Cinema Club has become one of the UK's
biggest and best-loved bands. After the huge success of their 2010 debut Tourist History, the threesome made their
triumphant return with sophomore effort Beacon in 2012. Much to the delight of fans, the Northern Irish trio has pencilled
in a victory lap of the country to promote their latest work; the early 2013 Two Door Cinema Club tour will see them playing
new material to adoring masses.
Kicking off in Newcastle on 24 January, the forthcoming Two Door Cinema Club tour includes shows in Manchester on 25 and
26 January, Birmingham on 1 and 2 February and Glasgow on 5 February before finishing up at London's O2 Academy Brixton on
8 February. They've also announced even bigger gigs for the spring, including their biggest show in the capital to date at

After meeting at school in Bangor, Two Door Cinema Club formed in 2007, taking their name from a mispronunciation of their
local multiplex, Tudor Cinema. By 2010, they would release their debut album Tourist History and over the following
summers, high profile slots at events such as Reading and Leeds and Glastonbury saw their stock rise further. By 2012 they
were considered major stars, something underlined by singer Alex Trimble's performance of the new track 'Caliban's Dreams'
to a global audience of billions at the London 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony.
Riding the crest of fame, their sophomore LP Beacon hit shelves just weeks later, hitting Number Two on the UK Albums
Chart and the top spot in Ireland. Hailed as a stylish push forward into stadium-filling electro-rock, fans eagerly await
the chance to hear its songs on the 2013 Two Door Cinema Club tour. Get the latest listings for Two Door Cinema Club tickets
