Able to sell out large venues in their native Manchester before even signing a record deal, these outspoken rock 'n' rollers
have long had a reputation as a scintillating live act. However, with the platform afforded by a string of hit albums and
a knack for giving headline-grabbing quotes in interviews, they can now comfortably sell out huge indoor and outdoor gigs
all over the country.

After deciding to electrify his sound and up his game, former acoustic troubadour Liam Fray formed the band with friends
Mark Cupello, Conan Moores and Michael Campbell in 2006 with a stated aim of taking over rock 'n' roll. Within a few gigs,
the foursome became the talk of the town as fans clamoured to catch a glimpse of the city's next musical heroes. By 2007 the
band had signed a record deal and released their debut single 'Cavorting', following it up with Top 20 hit 'What Took You
So Long'.
As their reputation went nationwide after a string of sell-out tours, the band hit Number Four with debut album St.
Jude and by the following year confirmed their ambitions by playing the country's biggest indoor venue, Manchester Arena,
to help launch second album Falcon. Widening their musical horizons further, the LP was filled with swooping epics
such as 'Take Over the World', while the spiralling disco-rock of 'You Overdid It, Doll' confirmed them as indie dance floor
fillers.
Having slayed huge festivals such as Reading and Glastonbury, they're now one of Britain's most cherished live bands as
their 2013 LP ANNA cements their position among the UK's rock elite. Buy The Courteeners tickets on StubHub UK to ensure
