More About T in the Park - Environmentally Friendly Festival

Held annually on the grounds of a disused airfield, the T in the Park location changed in 1997 from Strathclyde Park, Lanarkshire to Balado Park, Kinross-shire. With more than 200 acts performing over three days, the T in the Park festival is the go-to destination for fans wanting a selection of acts from right across the musical spectrum.

Implementing a new catering scheme in 2007 to combat unhealthy festival food, visitors to T in the Park can now enjoy healthy snacks such as juice bars and fruit stalls, plus organic, locally sourced food served in pop-up restaurants on-site. Further enhancing the T in the Park live experience, the environmental friendly festival has added a 10p charge to the price of a pint since 2006, given back to you when you return your plastic cup to be recycled.
