Stomp Live – Rhythm is a Dancer
Speaking the universal language of percussion, Stomp Live packs a punch of epic proportions. Emulating natural rhythms,
a pumping heart is the only pre-requisite necessary to enjoy the beat-fuelled show that is Stomp. Making music from
the most banal of objects, the Stomp show sees bins, boxes, trolleys, tubs and all manner of discarded items become
unlikely musical instruments in this expertly choreographed feat of percussion.
With a number of different accomplished Stomp troupes performing around the globe, the show’s status as a
top percussion/dance show comes as no surprise. On StubHub! UK you can find Stomp

More About Stomp Live – Bang, Crash, Move
Starting out in Brighton back in 1991, the brilliantly named Pookiesnackenburge began performing street comedy musicals,
making music out of the most mundane of items. Crafting the now famous dustbin dance for the Heineken ‘Bins’ advert,
co-founders Steve McNicholas and Luke Cresswell swapped Pookiesnackenburge for Stomp, taking the act to the Edinburgh Fringe.
Initial Stomp reviews were positive, and the show earned The Guardian’s ‘Critic’s Choice’
award and The Express’ ‘Best of the Fringe’ award, sealing the arrival of the original Stomp
Confirming success Stomp provided the soundtrack – or should that be ‘Stomptrack’ – for
a number of big brand commercials, including Coca Cola and Target in the US, SEAT in Europe and Honda in Japan. Selling out
Sadler’s Wells dance theatre and racking up awards for ‘Best Choreography in a West End Show’, Stomp
London went on to break box office records established by Frank Sinatra at Royal Festival Hall.
