More About South West Four - A Decade of Decadence
This must-attend event on the UK dance calendar was established in 2004, when Erick Morillo and Sasha co-headlined for
an audience of thousands. From these banging beginnings, a true phenomenon was born - and high-calibre acts and huge names
have appeared on the line up each year since.
Increasing its capacity for 2005, when the likes of John Digweed and Tall Paul manned the wheels of steel, by 2007 promoters
were able to entice the world's top DJ, Paul van Dyke, to the stage, while 2009 brought a touch of pop class with David Guetta
performing. 2010 marked a turning point for the bash as it was extended to two days, with the likes of Fatboy Slim and Boys
Noize helping the crowds celebrate in style. Named Best British Festival by DJ Magazine in 2011, the event continues
to go from strength to strength, buoyed by its central location and global reputation.
From the outset, artists and revellers alike praised the festival's suburban location, which offers the opportunity to
lap up the latest electro sounds without needing to head to a superclub or field in the middle of the countryside. Discover
