Following the demise of Oasis, Noel took tentative steps into a career as a solo artist. In July 2011, he announced his new all-Manchester line-up were to tour in small local venues and theatres, stating, If it's good enough to get bigger than that then it'll get bigger. Releasing 'If I Had A Gun' and 'AKA... What A Life!' saw demand grow rapidly for the British indie icon to perform his new tracks live, his stint in an obscure jobbing band a brief one.
