Echo Arena was built in 2008, Liverpool's year as the European Capital of Culture. Since then the venue has blossomed; today it is a well known sight and staple presence on the city's landscape. With its two stages Echo Arena can host large scale live concerts like Coldplay's'Viva La Vida' tour of 2008 and smaller concerts in Echo Two, its 'venue-within-a-venue'.
