        Lianne La Havas Biography - Musical Pedigree, Genuine Talent

        Hailing from a musical family, this sultry songstress gained a grounding in multiple genres from an early age. Inspired by her mother, who played with Mary J. Blige, and her multi-instrumental father, she started writing songs at the age of 11. Eventually dropping out of college to pursue a music career, she made her first strides in the business as a backing vocalist before signing a deal with Warner Bros. Recordings in 2010. Collaborating with fellow singer-songwriter Willy Mason, she put out her debut EP Lost & Found in 2011, before widening her audience with a show-stopping turn on hit BBC show Later... With Jools Holland. US indie favourites Bon Iver were also featured on the broadcast and, suitably blown away by her talent, recruited La Havas as the support act for their North American tour.

        Delivering on her early promise with debut album Is Your Love Big Enough?, the songstress hit Number Four on the albums chart and was certified Silver.
