        Leeds - A City Seeped in History

        Leeds, the fourth biggest metropolitan area within England, is located in West Yorkshire, UK. Situated on the River Aire, the alleged Roman settlement dates all the way back to the 5th Century. Since Medieval times the city has grown in population and with the Industrial Revolution, Leeds became a prominent centre of textile production, iron foundries and printing. Today Leeds remains one of the most important cities in Britain, with the largest concentration of finance, legal and business services outside of London.
