These pop-rock favourites have written themselves into the record books in recent years, hitting Number One with each of
their first five albums - a feat only beaten by the Fab Four back in the 1960s. With an enviable back catalogue of hits, it's
little wonder that the band's tours are enduringly popular - fans need to be quick as Keane tickets often sell out in a matter
of hours. Check the latest listings and availability on StubHub UK, part of the world's biggest fan-to-fan ticket marketplace.
Hailing from Battle, East Sussex, the band originally formed as Lotus Eaters in 1993 with Tim Rice-Oxley, drummer Richard
Hughes and original member Dominic Scott. They changed their moniker to the one fans know and love today when vocalist Tom
Chaplin joined in 1997. After releasing self produced single Call Me What You Like' in 1999 the band struggled to get noticed
- and Scott quit, leaving them as a trio.
Not giving up on their dreams, the threesome ploughed on and were eventually spotted by influential Fierce Panda boss Simon
Williams, the man who originally signed Coldplay. Releasing 'Everybody's Changing' on the imprint, the three-piece were soon
gaining radio airplay and making a name for themselves on the live circuit. By 2004, they would have the second best selling
album of the year, their debut Hopes and Fears outsold only by Scissor Sisters' self-titled LP.
Since then, they've gone on to become one of the nation's best loved groups, hitting the top spot with follow-up LPs Under
The Iron Sea, Perfect Symmetry and Strangeland, along with their 2010 EP Night Train. Enjoy their
piano-infused pop for yourself by purchasing Keane tickets on StubHub UK, under the full assurance of our FanProtect Guarantee.
