Few bands have launched themselves onto the scene with more ferocity than these politicised punk protagonists. Formed in 2005, the band quickly gained a reputation as an uncompromising live act, mainly thanks to their flame-haired firebrand frontman Frank Carter. The group eventually came to the attention of indie label In At The Deep End, who put out their debut album Orchestra Of Wolves in 2006. Lavished with critical praise, the band's big mainstream breakthrough came when Carter topped music bible NME's annual Cool List, appearing on the publication's cover in 2007. After releasing their dystopian second album Grey Britain in 2009, the five-piece entered a period of change which saw them leave their major label and, in 2011, wave goodbye to Carter, who went on to form the more mainstream-friendly Pure Love.
