- Kickstarting British Music
Born Elliot Gleave in west London, this amazing artist got his first taste of the spotlight
while performing in rap battles as a schoolboy. After pouring his creative energies into film directing on a degree course,
he returned to the rap scene to earn extra cash in his early 20s - and he was soon introduced to the influential Mike Skinner
of the Streets, who signed Gleave to his own label. Emerging with a slew of minor single releases in the mid-'00s, the star
was quickly gaining airplay on Radio 1 and building his profile on the live circuit with festival spots and support slots.
However, it was 2009 that would see this ambitious artist truly break through to the mainstream with tracks such as
'Watch the Sun Come Up' and the album Won't Go Quietly. Within two years he'd scored his first Number One with 'Changed
the Way You Kiss Me' and quickly followed it up with another chart-topper, 'Stay Awake'. Soon able to command huge arena audiences,
he cemented his superstar status with 2012's gold-selling The Evolution of Man. With 2014 bringing an innovative new
tour, the Ultimate Weekend, and a brand new album, there's never been a time to get on board with this brilliant act. Buy
