Riding on the post-Nirvana wave, Bush is a mishmash of all that makes grunge sparkle. Their wailing guitar sounds and lead
singer Gavin Rossdale's raspy, angst-ridden vocals - best shining on singles 'Glycerine' and 'Swallowed' - appealed to '90s
audiences reared on a sonic diet of Pearl Jam and Soundgarden. More popular in the States than their native UK, the multi-platinum band has
sold more than 10 million albums worldwide since their debut in 1994.
Known for their powerful live performances, Bush the band stirs up emotion with their well-crafted lyrics and rhythms.

Formed in London in 1992, Bush's name originated from their former
residence at Shepherd's Bush in London. The release of their debut LP Sixteen Stone brought the band immediate success
and saw them win awards for the album, which was produced by the men who had worked with Madness and Elvis Costello. Subsequent Bush albums were successful; however, none achieved the commercial
success of their debut record. Following this decline and a lack of support from their label, Bush made the decision to split
in 2002.
After pursuing solo careers and taking a break from touring, the band reunited in 2010. Lead and bass guitarists Nigel
Pulsford and Dave Parsons both decided not to rejoin due to the heavy workload involved with touring; they were replaced with
Chris Traynor and Corey Britz. The band has built up further successes since re-forming. Their first album after getting back
together, The Sea of Memories, peaked at number 18 on the Billboard Top 200 whilst single 'The Sound of Winter' reached
number one on the Billboard Alternative Songs Chart. The band looks set to continue with their success with future tours and
Bush albums.
