Stone Cherry Biography - Graduating from the School of Rock
Musicians John Fred Young and Chris Robertson could often
be found jamming together during their teenage years and soon became firm friends with fellow musicians Ben Wells and Jon
Lawhon. They officially formed as a group in June 2001 and eventually took over John's father's band headquarters to start
laying down tracks. The group quickly accrued a local fan following after performing regularly at clubs in the area and eventually
released their self-titled debut in May 2006. The group made their homecoming later that same year, where they were greeted
by 1,500 gig goers with 'welcome home' signs when they returned to play a gig at their high school.
2008 proved to be
a big year for the four piece after they were drafted in to support Def Leppard and Whitesnake on the UK arena tour, later
hitting the road with Nickelback. Their third album, Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, gave rise to hit single
'White Trash Millionaire' and saw the group nominated for a Classic Rock award in 2011. Discover this incredible live
