It was in 2010, after sharpening their skills with two years of almost constant touring, that things really started to
happen for Band of Skulls. A sold-out gig at London's HMV Forum, where they showcased their debut album Baby Darling Doll Face Honey, felt
like a turning point for the alternative rock group. The second Band of Skulls album, Sweet Sour, would be performed
on bigger stages for larger audiences around the world.
Catching a Band of Skulls tour is the best way to appreciate the amazing talent of this trio. If you want to check out

Band of Skulls Biography - Southampton College Friends Hit the Big Time
Band of Skulls hail from Southampton and are similar in style to Blood Red Shoes and The Black Keys. While
compiling their second album in 2011, a US Band of Skulls tour was organised to road-test the new material. The reaction to
the latest Band of Skulls songs was overwhelming. At the San Diego Beachside Festival one fan got so carried away rocking
out to 'You're Not Pretty But You've Got It Goin' On' that the police used a taser on him. The group received a similarly
rapturous reception at the Bonnaroo festival, a gig they feel played a huge part in shaping the second Band of Skulls album.
Band of Skulls tickets are becoming more and more sought after - no surprise, as the band draws new levels of excitement out
of concertgoers at each gig.
