Although now based in York, the group's origins are rooted in Dubai, where guitarist Ben Bruce formed their original incarnation in 2007. After releasing one album, The Irony Of Your Perfection, the axeman returned to the UK and recruited an entirely new set of musicians, but kept the band's name for his new project.
The first couple of years of their career were spent touring, with support slots with the likes of Enter Shikari and The Bled introducing the band to audiences as far afield as the US. By 2009, the five-piece had attracted the interest of Sumerian Records, who released their debut album Stand Up and Scream, impressing reviewers and fans with their metalcore stylings and humorous song titles. Sophomore LP Reckless & Relentless followed in 2011, smashing into the Top 10 of the US Billboard 200 and exposing the quintet to an even bigger audience in the UK.
Firm festival favourites, the band have wowed the crowds at events such as Download and Rockstar Mayhem, while also packing out venues on numerous headline UK tours.
