All hail the undisputed king of shock rock! This musical pioneer's ironic fusion of an androgynous appearance and dark,
controversial lyrics has more than earned his place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. And central to his appeal are his theatrical
live shows, meaning Alice Cooper tickets have been flying out of box offices for the past six decades.

The son of a lay-preacher, Vincent Damon Furnier formed his first band when still a high school student. The group went
through a variety of name changes, including The Earwigs, The Spiders and Nazz, before Furnier was allegedly informed he was
the reincarnation of a 17th century witch named Alice Cooper, leading to the final name choice.
After moving to California, the band signed with Straight Records Imprint and released albums in 1969 and 1970 to limited
success. The band also worked on honing their live act, and this, combined with the breakthrough success of hit single School's
Out in 1972, saw demand for Alice Cooper tickets explode.
In 1973, the band decided to separate: Furnier continued utilising the Alice Cooper persona and released Welcome to
My Nightmare in 1975, with further albums following throughout the late '70s and early '80s. A succession of horror film
appearances bought renewed success in the late '80s and single 'Poison' became Furnier's first Top Ten single since 1977.
Now entering his twilight years, he's still a much-loved global performer, with fans keen to see old hits performed alongside
newer conceptual material such as tracks from 2005's Along Came A Spider.
Fans interested in Alice Cooper tickets may be interested in similar heavy rockers such as Black Sabbath and Motorhead.
